Chrissy Teigen Is the Patron Saint of Fed-up Moms Everywhere

Once again Chrissy Teigen has proved that she is not going to put up with anyone's crap.

During a red carpet interview with Entertainment Tonight at the Producers Guild Awards, Teigen and husband John Legend were asked a question about having more kids. Legend responded, “A little boy is next, for sure.”

That comment caused a lot of people to wonder whether the Lip Sync Battle co-host was already pregnant.

Teigen took to Twitter to let fans know she was not pregnant and clarify how it is that she and Legend already know the sex of their future child.

"Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah," she wrote, before adding, "And no, I am not pregnant."

Teigen has been very open about her struggles with fertility.

Back in 2015, during an appearance on the now-defunct talkshow FABLife, the model revealed that she and Legend had been having trouble conceiving.

“I will say, honestly, John and I are having trouble,” she said. “We would have had kids five, six years ago if it'd happened. But my gosh, it's been a process.”

Only a month later, Teigen revealed that she and Legend were expecting their first child. In the April 2016 issue of SELF magazine, Teigen elaborated on how much of a struggle it was for her to get pregnant.

"The big question was, why this wasn't working for us when I was young and he was healthy," she said. "I thought, people get pregnant by accident all the time! How does this happen?"

Eventually, the couple decided to try in vitro fertilization, a process that Teigen says took a big toll on her.

"Emotionally, it could be really hard," she told SELF. "When you have these high-highs and low-lows, and you're, like, cuckoo pants. You don't want to get your hopes up, but of course, you do."

In the end it was all worth it because Teigen and Legend are now parents to nine-month-old Luna.

But when in response to her clarification about using IVF to have their next child, a woman tweeted at her asking if she'd tried conceiving naturally, all those years of struggle came back to Teigen.

"Did you give it a minute to try naturally or are you avoiding 'the act?'" one woman tweeted at Teigen. "At least no political rants!"

In response, Teigen did what she does best. She shut down something stupid.

"Hi Linda, thanks for asking, you complete witch," she replied. "I tried for about 9 years. Anything else, let me know!"

Rule of thumb, don't mess with a mom who's struggled with fertility.
