These TV Friendships Make Us Want to Call Our Best Friend Right Now

Valentine's Day is coming up—and sure, everyone gets excited for the excuse to bust out flowers and chocolate for most romantic night of the year. But don't forget to save a little love for February 13th: Galentine's Day.

A day for celebrating the female friendships in our lives, Galentine's Day encourages the single, taken and everything in between to honor the friendships that keep us afloat and sane in even the roughest times.

To that end, we celebrate the best pairs of pals from television, representing the best in strong and relatable female friendships:

Lucy and Ethel - I Love Lucy

One of the most adored best friends in television history, Lucy and Ethel remain (in reruns) the ultimate best friend duo. Always down for a good practical joke, the pair paved the way for strong female friendships on TV.

"Oh, Ann, you beautiful, naïve, sophisticated newborn baby."
"Ann, you beautiful spinster."
"Oh, Ann, you beautiful, rule-breaking moth."
“Oh Ann, you beautiful tropical fish.”
