Kerry Washington and her husband Nnamdi Asomugha have welcomed baby number two into their family.

According to E! News, Washington gave birth to son Caleb Kelechi Asomugha on October 5. News of the birth is just coming out now because much like her Scandal character Olivia Pope, Washington is a master of keeping secrets.

In 2013 she kept her marriage to former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Asomugha a secret, and in 2014, news of the birth of their first child Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha didn't come out until two weeks after she was born.

News that Washington and Asomugha were expecting their second child broke in May after a visibly pregnant Washington attended the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in Washington D.C.

"Big coats, big bags... hiding behind different body parts of other actors," she told in September.

The sixth season of Scandal will premiere in January 2017 instead of this fall so as to accommodate Washington and her new son.
