Kirsten Dunst Re-Wore a Dress From 2004 and It (Still) Looks Fantastic

With a single photo, the 'celebrities only wear clothes once' trope officially became a myth.

This past weekend, Hidden Figures star Kirsten Dunst wore a white lace vintage Christian Lacroix minidress to a screening of The Queen of Kalahari in Paris—the same one she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscars party back in 2004.

Twelve years ago, Dunst paired the dress with layered silver necklaces and red pumps. For the 2017 look, she's toned it down a bit.

While the jewelry is quite similar, she's swapped the red heels for a black pair with an ankle strap, and opted for a nude lip rather than a berry.

Her youthful pixie cut from 2004 has been traded in for a loose, ponytail with a few strands left down—and the overall effect is less flapper-girl, more evening-drinks-with-a-duchess.

She also threw a black blazer on for a menswear-inspired touch—an interesting contrast to the feminine, delicate dress.

Dunst of course looks as stylish as ever, but it is noticeable how much more relaxed she is in the photos from the past weekend in comparison to the 2004 shots. She's clearly continuing to evolve both as a person and actor—and her clothes are along for the ride.
