Homemade window cleaners are easy to make, cheaper than store-bought brands and chemical free.

But unlike a lot of homemade versions, this window cleaner recipe actually works.

We also like this mix because it uses essential oils to cut the vinegar smell, which makes it smell quite nice.

Homemade Window Cleaner

What you'll need:

2 cups of water

2 tbs. of white vinegar

5 to 10 drops of essential oil (We used lavender.)

An empty spray bottle

How you to make it:

Mix water, vinegar and oil in a spray bottle and shake. It's that simple!
