Nicki Minaj Just Broke Aretha Franklin's Record for Billboard Hits

The new Nicki Minaj Billboard record means she's officially surpassed Aretha Franklin for most Billboard Hot 100 hits by a woman.

This milestone comes after the 34-year-old singer released three songs this month (on the same day, no less): 'No Frauds,' 'Regret in Your Tears' and 'Changed It.'

Minaj has now earned 76 Billboard hits, breaking Aretha Franklin's 40-year record of 73 hits.

The rapper posted to her Instagram account thanking her fans for her achievement, saying:

"I love my fans. Y'all the real MVP's. Been writing my own raps since I was 11. GOD knows. Next week I'll beat Aretha for the most Hot 100 hits on billboard by ANY woman in the world EVER in the history of music. Stay in your bum ass place. Jealousy gets u no where."
